About Us

As a small town, Kingsteignton has many attributes, one of which is supporting our local community.  

 

KingsCare League of Friends along with Town Councillors, Teignbridge Council, HITS, Teignbridge CVS and the local churches all shared and identified we have residents of Kingsteignton who are likely to struggle through the cost of living crisis. 

 

From initial conversations, KingsCare have launched this website to provide information, support and help when it’s needed. 

 

The project has taken longer to put together than we originally hoped but we must recognise the National Grid for providing funding and supporting this website to detail a wide range of helpful organisations.  

 

We are also creating warm packs for those who need the most help and are sorting out a warm space or two for people to get out of the cold as the winter progresses.
